College 101 Information Night

Now that you have applied to college, you may have a few questions about the realities of college and how to be successful. The Arlington High School Guidance Department is sponsoring:

College 101 Information Night
On March 13, 2008 at 7:00pm.

Topics that will be covered:

  • How to read the Tuition Bill
  • Know your rights
  • Roommate Issues
  • Study skills
  • Money & time management
  • Privacy Act/Safety
  • Choosing classes
  • What to expect the first day
  • Where to go for support

Comments from last year's seminar night: "every student applying to college should have this information", "we learned more tonight than we did attending all of the open house programs at the colleges", "he was informative on many different topics, including financial aid tips", "we feel better prepared to send our son away now", and "my mom made me come, and I'm glad she did".

The seminar will be held in the Large Group Instruction Room (Room 1432). Registration is required. Please fill out the form below and return it to the Guidance Office.
