District Reentry Team
In preparation for the 2020-2021 school year and in accordance with New York State Executive Orders, we have formed a District Reentry Team (DRT). The purpose of this team is to research, organize and develop protocols and procedures that will form the basis for a reentry plan which will be submitted to New York State for approval. This plan will also provide the students, staff, and families of Arlington with a framework for a safe, student-centered, and equity-based reentry to school.
DRT members have formed ten task forces to examine the following areas: instructional, health and safety, social emotional learning/mental health, financial planning, human resources, facilities (cleaning protocols), transportation, food services, technology, and interscholastic athletics.
Thank you to the parents, students, faculty, staff, and administrators who have volunteered to serve on these task forces. We will continue to solicit input from our broader community as the process moves forward.

As we continue to receive guidance, we will post any new information or correspondence on this page.

New York has established a Novel Coronavirus Hotline, which can provide additional information. Call 1-888-364-3065 with questions or concerns about travel and symptoms.
All Arlington Buildings and Grounds are currently closed. We are not fully staffed to supervise children or to maintain our athletic facilities or playgrounds. We encourage you to walk in your neighborhoods and to utilize public trails. For the safety of all, please remember the importance of social distancing and to avoid playground use, as the virus may be able to live on plastic and metal surfaces for 2-3 days.
