    Classroom Notes

I would like to take this opportunity to familiarize you with some routines which will help us work together to ensure a happy and successful year for your second grader.

Regular attendance and getting to school on time are very important to your child’s adjustment and success in school. Arrival time is 8:40 a.m.. By 8:55 a.m. the children are unpacked and settled. Even if your child is only a few minutes late, it causes an interruption for the entire class and may mean that your child has missed important directions for the day.
    Bus Safety
Please remind your child of the importance in following their bus driver’s rules and instructions.

Hot lunch, milk and a variety of snack foods may be purchased. A lunch menu is sent home at the beginning of each month. Please encourage your child to keep his/her lunch money in an envelope that has their first and last name written on it as well as their pin number.. Money for lunch may be deposited into a lunch fund through the district. Each child is assigned a pin number which is used to withdrawal from this fund for cafeteria purchases.

***Your child’s lunch pin number will also be their log in password for using the computer. Please help your child to memorize this pin number.
Lunch is at 12:30 each day.
