Welcome to English as a new language at Arlington High School! "English as a new language" is the new term for "English as a second language"; it reflects the fact that many of our students come to Arlington speaking more than one language.

I have been teaching in the Arlington District for eighteen years. Before having the opportunity to teach English as a new language, I also taught German for nine years. Throughout my years in Arlington, I have come to appreciate the dedication of all of the Arlington staff. I look forward to another successful year!
