The Arlington Board of Education approved the 2022/2023 school year calendar on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Please note the following:

• The first day of school for students will be Tuesday, September 6. 
  
  
• The first two days of school will be half days for kindergarten students.
  
  
• The Middle School Open House is Thursday, September 22.  The middle schools will dismiss at 10:00am. 
  
  
• The Arlington High School Open House is Thursday, October 6th. The high school will dismiss at 10:00am. There will be two sessions for the open house: 12:00pm - 2:07pm and 6:30pm - 8:37pm. 
  
  
• Elementary Parent/Teacher Conferences will occur the week of December 5 according to the following schedule:
  
  
  • ASM, TRP, JDW, and BES have a full day of conferences on Monday, December 5 and a half day of conferences on Tuesday, December 6. ASM, TRP, JDW, and BES will NOT attend school on 12/5 and will dismiss at 11:30am on 12/6.
    
    

  • TIS, OPS, NOX, and VFE to have a full day of conferences on Wednesday, December 7 and a half day of conferences on Thursday, December 8. TIS, OPS, NOX, and VFE will NOT attend school on 12/7 and will dismiss at 11:30am on 12/8.

  • December 9 will be a snow day if any of the conference days are canceled due to inclement weather. 
    
    
• There are four emergency days built into the calendar. The schedule for makeup days, if we use more than four days, and return days, if we use less than four days, is at the bottom of the calendar.
  
  
• The last day of school for elementary and middle school students will be Thursday, June 22.
