Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
The Arlington Central School District is in regular contact with the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health. This agency, along with the New York State Department of Health, New York State Education Department, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization, continue to provide guidance. As we continue to receive guidance, we will post any new information or correspondence on this page.
All Arlington Buildings and Grounds are currently closed. We are not fully staffed to supervise children or to maintain our athletic facilities or playgrounds. We encourage you to walk in your neighborhoods and to utilize public trails. For the safety of all, please remember the importance of social distancing (read this important article) and to avoid playground use, as the virus may be able to live on plastic and metal surfaces for 2-3 days.
New York has established a Novel Coronavirus Hotline, which can provide additional information. Call 1-888-364-3065 with questions or concerns about travel and symptoms.
Please note that all Adult/Continuing Education Classes are postponed or canceled through April 30. Visit the Adult/Continuing Education page for updates.
