Summer Food Service Programs
We know that the summer months can be difficult for children who rely on free and reduced breakfast and lunch during the school year. As a result of job loss related to COVID-19, families may have an even harder time providing meals for their children this summer. Please see the links below for local summer food service programs.
The Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County Summer Food Service Program
A great way to ensure that kids get the healthy food they enjoy during the school year, even when schools are not in session. All kids are invited to drop by locations in Poughkeepsie, Beacon, Amenia/Millerton and Wappingers for a meal, activities, or both!
These summer meal opportunities in Dutchess County are collaborative efforts with various locations and hours.
Parents are encouraged to call 845-677-8223 ext. 110 to find out more about the Summer Food Service Programs being offered in your area.
