Dear Senior Parents, Guardians, and Students,
In order to park at Arlington High School, senior students and a parent or guardian each must register for and complete the virtual course called 'Teen Driving: A Family Affair', offered by CAPE of Dutchess County. All Dutchess County schools have this requirement to park on their campuses.
The opportunity to register AND take the CAPE “Teen Driving: A Family Affair” course is limited to Friday, August 27th at 7:00 a.m. through Friday September 3rd at 11:59 p.m. Note: There is no pre-registration - you can only register starting on Friday, August 27th.
There will not be any additional offerings this year until the spring, so all students who plan to park on campus this year must have completed the CAPE course either last spring (May) or this month.
The CAPE Teen Driving Parent Letter, along with How to Register for Teen Driving Online and Teen Driving Online Frequently Asked Questions are all found on the AHS website in the Senior Student Parking Information, Application, tab under QuickLinks. As a quick reference, the enrollment code for this program is TD2021-makeup.
After the CAPE program is completed, the 2021-22 Senior Parking Application can be completed. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Best to All,
