A reading of the names of Arlington alumni who made the ultimate sacrifice, forever remembered on our Wall of Remembrance
On January 3, 2025, Charlie Johnson (AHS Class of 1951) earned the Medal of Honor for his bravery during the Korean War. He lost his life saving nine wounded soldiers, including classmate Donald Dingee. Today, the AHS Wall of Remembrance honors Charlie for eight core values: loyalty, brotherhood, selflessness, courage, compassion, responsibility, patriotism, and integrity.
Each year, Arlington High School presents the Charlie Johnson Award to graduating seniors who embody these values. Please join us as we remember our fallen heroes, celebrate Charlie Johnson's extraordinary valor, and recognize some of our outstanding AHS seniors.
