Hello Friends...I am one of the reading teachers here at Traver Primary School. I work with Kindergarten and First grade students to assist with reading and writing. I absolutely love what I do! I am an avid reader and super enthusiastic about the world of books. This is something I bring to my students each and every day in the intervention room. The love of reading is my primary goal. To get my students engaged and eager to explore the world of print is my priority, and everything else stems from that. 
I was born in Poughkeepsie NY. I attended Pace University, where I received my Masters Degree in Literacy. I spend my free time reading (especially on cold, rainy days) and antiquing. My best time is running, skiing, biking and traveling with my twelve year old son Jake. I was fortunate enough to have visited Africa, where I was able to instill a love of reading with the children in a local community in Botswana. I hope to return again with my son.
