My teaching career began about 20 years ago after working as a newspaper reporter and photographer in the area. I found that many of the stories I wrote were in the schools. I earned a Masters degree in elementary and special education from Mount St. Mary' s College. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy promoting reading and writing through my love of comic books. My wife and I have 2 teen daughters and a small sheep farm in Hyde Park.
