Welcome to Physical Education!
My name is Mr. Stewart. I have been teaching PE and Health for over 14 years and have been at Titusville Intermediate School for the last 9 years.
Students will be participating in many different games and activities during the school year. Skills vary according to the units but some examples of the skills are rolling, tossing, throwing, dribbling with both hands and feet, dance and many other fun things!
Students will learn about the five physical fitness componets which are Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Flexibility, and Body Composition. An understanding of heart rate and healthy fitness zones for the pacer test are a goal for every student.
Students will learn to work collaboratively in a safe and healthy environment to accomplish tasks.
