Dear TIS Families:
At our last All School Meeting, I talked to our community about what it means to have good character and that good character means doing the right thing even when no one is looking. The last All School Meeting was also Grandparents’ / Special Friends Day. I was truly overwhelmed by the amount of support and love our students and their families showed that day. We had well over 200 grandparents / special friends come to show their support for our students!
I also shared a quote with our students “character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you”. We talked about how being accepting of all and helpful without expectation of reward shows what kind of a person you are.
With December rolling in, we also have a flurry of events and programs happening! Please see below for a list of events…
13/3 - Grade 4 Winter Concert
12/4 - Holiday Shop
12/6 - Parent/Teacher Conferences - No school for students
12/7 - Polar Express & Movie Night 6 - 8pm
12/11 - Grade 5 Winter Concert
12/13 - ½ day Parent/Teacher conferences
12/21 - Winter Workshops
Please consider attending one of our PTA meetings to find out how you can become more involved in some of the wonderful events and programs we offer here at Titusville!
Yours in education,
Rick Sutton, Principal
