Welcome to First Grade!  My name is Donna Piehler. I love family time and being a teacher.  I'm married to my best friend Stephen for 26 years.  We have two beautiful children Brandon age 23 and Alexandra age 16 and a loving yellow lab named Lilly.  My son graduated from Arlington 2014 and Manhattanville College 2018 and my daughter in going into her Junior year at Arlington. I am very proud mom!   We love spending time together playing games, going to the beach, biking, walking, cooking and listening to country music. 

I graduated from SUNY Cortland with a BS in Elementary Education and I have my masters in Reading from Fordham University.   I began my teaching career back in 1989 and I still LOVE it!  Over the years, I have taught Kindergarten, First grade, Second grade, Fifth grade and I've been a Reading teacher.  I absolutely love First grade! 

Teaching is a passion for me and I will do all that I can to make sure your child loves school!  I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child.   I promise it will be a year filled with many firsts.  We wil grow as readers, writers, mathmeticians and scientists in a fun, loving safe enviornment.
