Nurse's Corner

  • Welcome to Mrs. Cooley's Corner

    Some general health reminders:

    • Wash your hands often at home and school so you don't pass along or pick up any "bugs" that could make you sick
    • Cover your coughs - no one wants to get your cold
    • Drink  lots of water during the school day
    • Get lots of rest so you can learn and play at school

Students need to remain home resting if they have:

    • Vomited in the last 24 hours
    • Had diarrhea in the last 24 hours
    • Had a fever in the last 24 hours (without medication)
    • Started antibiotics (including antibiotic eye drops) in the last 24 hours
    • Have a continuous, uncontrollable cough (if it seems unusual check with medical provider)
    • Have unexplained, suspicious rashes (until seen by medical provider)

Please notify the health office if your student has been diagnosed with a contagious disease - so we can help keep the Beekman community safe

If your child becomes ill at school, we will contact a parent or guardian.

Please help us reach you by keeping contact information up to date.
