Hi 🙂 My name is Amanda Grabowski, and I am so excited to have joined the reading team here at Vail Farm Elementary! I am a 2006 graduate of Mount Saint Mary College where I received my Master's degree majoring in Literacy and Special Education. Prior to teaching reading, I was a Special Education teacher for the last 16 years. My goal is to create a safe and positive learning environment for every student so that successful learning can occur. Therefore, it is important to me that all students feel that they belong in my classroom. Throughout this school year, I hope to help shape strong, confident readers. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and drinking coffee.
