Hello Families,

My name is Ela Fisher. I teach first grade at Vail Farm Elementary School. I have been teaching first grade for 25 years.  I started teaching in the Arlington School District in 2000.  Before that, I taught first grade as well as first/second multiage for 6 years in Chester, NY.  I feel blessed  that nearly all of my teaching career has involved first graders.  It is a special year with so much  growth!

I live in the Arlington community with my husband, three children and two dogs. I have one daughter attending college in Buffalo, another attending Arlington High School, and my youngest daughter attends Union Vale Middle School.   When I’m not teaching or driving my children to various activities, I enjoy reading, baking or running.
