I am currently in my 5th year as a AIS Mathematics Teacher after having taught third grade at VFES for 10 years. I really enjoy using a variety of games and activities that develop foundational skills and numbers sense to support students in making steady grade-level progress in class. We also spend time using number talks and number strings to help develop reasoning skills and explore the many ways that students can arrive at the same solution using creative strategies.
