I am a 1986 graduate of Arlington High School. In 1990 I received my BA in psychology from Marist College with certification K-12 in special education. From 1988 to 1990 I earned my elementary education certification from Vassar College. In May 1993  I received my masters in elementary education with a concentration in literacy from SUNY New Paltz. 

In September 1990 I began my teaching career at Arthur S. May Elementary School where I exclusively taught third grade for fourteen years. In September 2004 I switched over to the new Vail Farm Elementary School. I taught third grade for three years, fourth grade for one year, and now fifth grade for fifteen years. 

This is my 33rd year teaching.
