I am a National Board Certified Art Teacher in the Visual Arts: Adolescence through Young Adulthood. I received my B.S. in Studio Art from New York University in 2004 and my M.A. in Art and Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2007. I have been teaching Art at Union Vale Middle School in the Arlington Central School District since 2007 and received the "Most Promising Art Educator" award from the New York State Art Teacher's Association in 2008. This year, I am teaching Sixth Grade Art, SEventh Grade Art, and 8th Grade Accelerated Art at Union Vale Middle School. When I am not at school, I love drawing, painting, and spending time outdoors skiing, hiking, and reading a good book ocean side.
