I attended SUNY Cobleskill for two years and received an Associates degree in Early Childhood. I then went to SUNY New Paltz where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education,minoring in English. I received my Master's Degree in Literacy from Mount Saint Mary College. I am certified to teach literacy K-12. I previously taught third grade, Literacy fo Kindergarten and first grade students, then proceeded on to teach Literacy here at Union Vale Middle School. I have been teaching at UVMS since 2004 and I absolutely LOVE it!

I believe that all children can be life-long learners. All children have importance and are capable of achieving anything they put their minds to. I hope to instill a love of learning and reading to all students, as well as help prepare them to be successful within their community.
