Arlington is comprised of eight elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. There are close to 8,200 students in the Arlington Schools.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2020-2021 School Year
The Arlington Central School District offers full day kindergarten. Kindergarten students who will be entering school in September will be registered at the school that they will attend. Registration packets will be mailed in early February. Students must be 5 years old by December 1, 2020.

Incoming Students in Grades 1 - 12
Arlington has Central Registration for all students in grades 1 - 12 at our Central Administrative Office.
Parents or guardians can begin the process of registering their children in the Arlington Central School District by calling the Central Registration Office at 845-227-1821 to schedule an appointment. Central Registration is open from 8:30am 3:00pm and is located at 144 Todd Hill Road, LaGrangeville, NY 12540.
Students will be registered according to current school boundary lines. The District is required by law to verify date and place of birth, residency status, legal custody, appropriate immunizations, and academic status. Please see the menu on the top left of this page for required documents and forms for incoming students.
Incoming Kindergarten Resource Kit
Welcome to Kindergarten! During kindergarten orientation, incoming kindergarten students will be receiving a resource kit to help them develop and strengthen several key skills during the months leading up to the first day of kindergarten.
