    1. Facilitate the Superintendent’s Entry Plan as presented to the Board of Education upon hiring.

      Deliverables:
      • The Superintendent will engage in the pre-entry, entry, and post-entry activities as outlined in his entry plan.
      • The Superintendent will provide an entry plan report to the Board of Education on October 22.

    2. Facilitate continued engagement related to the district’s recent capital referendum to ensure that the projects move forward on time and on/under budget in a manner that cultivates trust in the district as stewards of the community’s resources.

      Deliverables:
      • The Superintendent or his designee will facilitate a process for the continued engagement of faculty and staff who are impacted by the capital projects.
      • The Superintendent or his designee will provide quarterly updates to the Board on the status of the capital project.
      • The Superintendent or his designee will provide at least two updates to the community on the status of the capital projects.

    1. Develop a capital plan and budget for the 2025-2026 school year that balances continued program enhancements with the community’s desire to manage tax growth.

      Deliverables:
      • The Superintendent or his designee will provide the Board of Education with department level key considerations and budget projections by the end of March.
      • The Superintendent will deliver a proposed Educational Plan and Budget for the 2025-2026 school year by the end of March.
      • The Superintendent will facilitate at least three community engagement sessions through the budget development process.

    1. Develop a staffing plan that accounts for the district’s short and long term needs and ensures that Arlington is hiring the most highly qualified candidates for all open positions.

      Deliverables:
      • The Superintendent or his designee will provide the Board of Education with a draft of a staffing plan by May 27.

    1. Review Arlington’s process for supporting students’ academic, social and emotional growth; develop a plan for supporting this work in the 2025-2026 school year.

      Deliverables:
      • The Superintendent or his designee will review the district’s current processes for school and district improvement and provide recommendations to the Board by June 1.
      • The Superintendent or his designee will review the recently completed Special Education Audit and make recommendations for improvement by June 1.
