My name is Alissa Martino. I am a K-2 teacher in the Journeys program.  This is my 15th year teaching special education. With extensive experience teaching children with an autism diagnosis and those with communication and/or behavioral challenges, I feel confident in meeting the needs of my students. 

In my classroom, every child is valued, and each milestone will be celebrated. My goal is to help students of all ability levels reach their maximum potential for success.  I emphasize working on skills that can be applied beyond the classroom to foster success in various environments. Through working together, we aim to further develop behavior, language, and social-emotional skills.
