Greetings, Everyone!

I am a second grade teacher here at Arthur S May School. Along with ongoing professional development, I was educated at Vassar College for my BA in English and Education, and received my M.A. from Middlebury College and Oxford University, UK. I have taught first and second grade for the entirety of my teaching career, enjoying the teaching of reading and the acquisition of expressive language.

I am married to a 3rd grade teacher here at ASM, Mr Leach. We have two children at home, Adam and Matthew, and enjoy spending time together in our pool and in Maine over our summers. We have 2 dogs, Ruby and Bailey; one rabbit, Lully; and two cats named Hawk and Sparrow. We love our animal friends at home and in the wild.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, experimental cooking, activism, and lately, bird-watching and learning more and more about birds.
