- What We Do
Welcome to the Arthur S. May School PTA

What does the PTA do?
Builds Community. The PTA provides a welcoming forum for family members and school staff to work together on issues that affect our children. Have questions or concerns? Bring them to a PTA meeting!
Supports innovative teaching. Each year, the PTA awards over $5,000 in grants to ASM teachers and staff for equipment, books, or experiences that support new, creative approaches to teaching and learning.
Brings the arts into our school. The PTA helps fund the Arts In Education enrichment programs, which include dance and music residencies, author readings and poetry workshops, interactive theater experiences, and the Reflections art program.
How can I get involved?
Join! The first step is to join the PTA or online or using the membership form provided!
Donate, if you can! Any amount helps! You can add a donation on the membership form.
Come to meetings. The PTA meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm virtually. A link will be sent to all members prior to the meeting date.
Volunteer. There are ton of opportunities to volunteer at events and fundraisers. You can help out all the time or just one time: every parent and staff member is welcome, as often or as little as your schedule permits. Watch your email for invitations to sign up!
Contact us at arthursmaypta@gmail.com or send a note to the ASM PTA mailbox at school.
