I am a daily Arlington substitute, can i receive notifications?
We do not import contact information for daily subs into ParentSquare. Daily subs can sign up for our community groups to receive closing/delay or early dismissal notifications. Click here for more information.

Why doesn't my ParentSquare invite link work?
Invitation links only last for 24 hours, but you do not need to wait for a new invitation to activate your account! You can go to the ParentSquare login page here and activate your account with the same email address we have on file for you.

Can I add additional phone numbers or email addresses to my account?
You are not able to add additional phone numbers or email addresses to your account at this time. However, extended family members, childcare providers, or other community members can sign up for our community groups to receive closing/delay or early dismissal notifications. My email is correct in ParentSquare. Why am I not receiving emails?
Please check your spam to see if any ParentSquare messages ended up there, and mark them as "Not Spam." Also add donotreply@parentsquare.com to your email contacts. If you are still not receiving emails, contact Parentportal@acsdny.org.

Can I change the email and/or cell phone number on my account?
Contact information in ParentSquare comes from our Schooltool (Parent Portal) system. You cannot change the information yourself.
Please contact our ParentSquare Help Desk at Parentportal@acsdny.org if you need to update your phone number or email address. Once your contact information is updated in SchoolTool, it will take 24 to 48 hours to update in ParentSquare.
Parents and guardians, please make sure to include the names of your children when requesting a change.
If your email is connected to your ParentPortal account, changing your ParentSquare email address will also change the email associated with your Parent Portal account. -
I am getting too many messages from ParentSquare. Is it possible to receive fewer notifications?
Yes, you can customize your notification settings by going to your homepage, clicking on your name in the top right corner, and selecting "My Account" from the drop-down menu. On your account page, you can find your notification settings in the top right corner and click "Change This" to customize your notifications. If you are receiving too many notifications, try changing to the “Digest” setting where you will only receive one summary message in the evening. How will the District use ParentSquare to notify me of a school closing/delay?
Families and employees will receive an email, as well as a text message about closings and delays by 5:00 AM. If the text message does not go through, then district families and employees will receive a phone message regarding the delay or closing.
