I am a certified Business and Marketing teacher, as well as a Coordinator of Work- Based Learning for Career Development. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, from Marist College, and a MBA, from Louisiana State University.  I have previous work experience in customer and financial services, inventory control, business and property management, sales, and real estate.  This is my seventh year teaching at LaGrange Middle School and I am looking forward to another amazing year.  I am the mother of two wonderful daughters, ages nineteen and fifteen. 
As a teacher, I am passionate about creating a climate and culture in my classroom which allows each and every student to feel safe, supported, and valued. My students' social and emotional well-being is at the forefront of my priorities, which is why I infuse character development and soft skills into each lesson. I encourage citizenship in our community, school buildings, classrooms and online. My goal as an educator is to guide students to have confidence in their own unique selves, reach their fullest potential and always DREAM BIG!
