I have worked in the school system in various ways for several years. At an early age, one could find me immersed in books,reading about
far-away lands. I knew I wanted to be a teacher because it was a way to interact with children as well as to continue my life-long pursuit of 
learning. 

I have two children who loved being an Admiral. My son is graduated from UB in Buffalo, NY and is currently living in Boston, MA, and my daughter is a first year law student at the University at Buffalo. I believe a parent's involvement in his or her child's education is instrumental to a child's success in all aspects of schooling.

Before becoming a teacher, I earned my B.A. in both English and women's studies from SUNY Albany and my M.A.T. in secondary education English at SUNY New Paltz. I am looking forward to another successful year of teaching right
here at my own alma mater! 

I am so excited to be at LaGrange Middle School, and I know it will be a wonderful year.
